Mont Blanc Mark Twain
Montblanc has been paying tribute to great writers with its limited edition pens since 1992. The Limited Writers Edition 2010 pen commemorates the centenary of Mark Twain’s death. The Montblanc Limited Writers Edition Mark Twain is inspired by the works of Mark Twain and his Southern roots.
Montblanc says the “sinuous curving lines on the cap and barrel of the writing instrument, made of deep blue precious resin, are inspired by the Mississippi and its shallow waves.” The top of the cap is shaped to resemble steamboat chimneys and the clip is formed by a stylised jaw’s harp. Mark Twain’s signature is located beneath the clip.
The John Lennon Special Edition
This trendy pen is available in three models — a fountain pen, ballpoint pen, and roller ball, with the signature Mont Blanc fixed star on a precious black resin body that is textured like vinyl, this edition takes us back to the design of the sixties. The clip features a guitar neck with finely etched strings while the platinum-plated plaque on the pen’s body is engraved with Lennon’s famous self-portrait. The rhodium plated 18 carat gold nib bears John Lennon’s legendary peace sign.”
